Phoenix Landing "STEP-UP!" Workshop
Skills to Empower People to Understand Parrots

("STEP-UP!")
                  Three Workshops in 2010:
April 16-19; August 20-23; and November 12-15

Phoenix Landing Foundation is sponsoring three Friday through Sunday workshops this year designed to give people an abundance of information about parrot care, from behavior and health, to nutrition and enrichment. In addition to lectures, there will be hands-on training sessions, cooking classes, and time to discuss issues of specific importance to you. You will work with the current foster birds at the Phoenix Landing facility, so you can teach behavior, foraging and feeding new foods first hand. Class size limited to 12 people in order to ensure that everyone has the opportunity for plenty of hands-on training. The location for the workshop is The Landing near Asheville, NC; a beautiful destination point in the Blue Ridge Mountains.
