| The instructions for making this toy are pretty straight forward. I show examples of how to make one in The Parrot Enrichment Activity Book, Version 2, pages 47 - 48.
I' m including it again on the web page because I want you to watch the video of Buddy tearing into it. I think when you watch him you will be able to appreciate the foraging potential of this easy to make toy.

| TREASURE CHESTS AND TOY BOXES |

| Elvis, my older Timneh, will quickly give up if the foraging opportunity presented to him is too difficult. I started him out on treasure chests and toy crocks. The less complicated design of this type of device works well to encourage Elvis to forage and get him habituated to more challenging foraging opportunities.
The video (below) will show you a beginner forager at work and possibly provide you some ideas if you too have a reluctant forager in your house.
