SECURITY: We use Secure Payments by PayPal. With PayPal you can either use your existing PayPal account or a credit card. You don't have to have a PayPal account to pay by credit card.
SHIPPING: At this time, shipping is calculated at the shopping cart within the Continental United States; Alaska and Hawaii.
Canadian and International customers will need to e-mail, sales@parrotenrichment.com with your order along with your address and I will respond with a total including shipping and handling. To keep cost of toys as low as possible, I use a free shopping cart, but it doesn't let me delete other countries, so I set shipping at $300 for other contries to prevent accidently processing an international order through the cart. Most of the time I can ship your order First Class mail and will work with you to maximize the amount of items you can purchase to make the shipping worth it.
International Customers wanting to order more than just the foraging blocks to maximize shipping costs can now order through www.persnicketyparrot.com. PersnicketyParrot.com is carrying a full line of Fantastic Foraging and Puzzler Foraging blocks along with other perches, food, treats, etc. and will ship internationally and are able to offer you the lowest ship rates possible to your country.
PRICE OPTIONS: Each foraging block comes with a stainless steel screw eye which is of a good size and weight and should be able to be used again. For those of you who choose to save your screw eyes, I've created price options for purchasing the foraging blocks without the screw eye. I will still drill a pilot hole in both ends of the blocks to make it easy for you to insert your own screw eye.

NEW - PUZZLER FORAGING BLOCKS
|
| | EXTRA SMALL PUZZLER FORAGING BLOCK
This wood block is made from untreated fir. It measures 1 1/2 x 1 1/2 x 4 inches. The screw eye is stainless steel.
There are alternating 1/4 inch cuts and two holes that wrap around the block in optional sizes of 3/4 inch or 5/8 inch creating multiple areas of interest. There is another 1/4 inch cut running the length of the block on all sides. The design of this block not only encourages foraging, but the additional cuts provide more nooks and crannies to encourage curious beaks to chip away at the wood. The center cut also creates a peek-a-boo hole that adds more interest.
The photos top left show you the front and side views of the block to give you an idea of how the cutouts and holes wrap around the block.

We created this for smaller parrots like our Meyers and other Poicephalus; Quakers; Cockatiels; Caiques and other parrots of similar size. We had several requests to make them with slightly smaller holes for Budgies. So we offer an opptional hole size of 5/8 inch which would be more appropriate for small Budgies.

| Ditto working to get his treat out of the Peek-A-Boo hole in his Small Puzzler Foraging Block. |
|
|
The Small Puzzler Foraging Block is similar to the Small Fantastic Foraging Block but with an additional lengthwise 1/4 inch deep cut down the center of each side. In the photos above I filled one of the holes with Ditto's favorite treat and covered the hole with wood slices. The slit down the center opens the side of the hole just enough that he can see there is a treat inside and it encourages him to work harder to get at the treat. I'm finding that this isn't just for small parrots but is the most popular design and size for many parrots, Timneh and Congo African Grey; Eclectus; Pionus; Poicephlus; Conure; Amazons and more.

The new design of the Medium Puzzler Foraging Block creates more ledges, nooks and crannies to entice parrots to chip away at the wood as well as forage treats out of the toy.
This is a popular size and design for avid wood chewers and larger parrots. We created this one to give owners of large parrots a choice of block that will still challenge those large beaks but is more affordable than the Large Puzzler.

| The new design of the Large Puzzler Foraging Block appeals to Zorba. |
|
|
We created the Large Fantastic Foraging Block for parrots with lots of chewing power like Macaws and Cockatoos. My own parrots would forage treats and vegetables out of the large blocks but showed little interest in chewing on the wood.
I gave Zorba a Large Puzzler Foraging Block and he was instantly attracted to the design. The additional cuts down the length of the block created more interest for him and he was tempted to chew on the wood and chip away at the holes but the Small Puzzler Foraging Block is still his prefered choice.

| PUZZLER FORAGING FOOT TOYS
This wood block is made from untreated fir. It measures 1 1/2 x 1 1/2 x 2 inches.
This toy is the brain child of Mabel and Emma's mom. She asked me if I had considered making a foot toy. I took one of the Small Puzzler Foraging Blocks and cut it into 4 sections. These are terrific foot toys with all the unique features of the foraging blocks. The photos left show you the front and side views of the foot toy.

FANTASTIC FORAGING BLOCKS
My husband, Jerry, and I designed these foraging blocks with an idea of combining the soft pine slats our parrots liked to chew with a hole that would accommodate almonds in the shell. All of the foraging blocks have cuts and holes that wrap around the blocks creating multiple areas you can fill with vegetables, nuts, nutri-berries, cinnamon sticks, and so much more.

The design of this block encourages foraging and will keep a wood chewer interested and busy. We created this block because we wanted to give large parrot owners another option for a toy suitable for big beaks. While the large block is ideal, this medium one will also challenge those large beaks and it is more affordable.

| Dyed Thin Half Wood Slices
These slices measure approximately 1 1/2 x 1 1/2 x 1/4 inch with a 1/4" hole. They are made from untreated fir that I cut and then dye myself with VitaCritter color. I use these wood slices as covers for the holes in the Fantastic Foraging Blocks. For example, if I have almonds that are too small to fit the hole, I can use these slices to cover the holes and keep the almond inside. I also sometimes put their Harrisons pellets in the holes and keep them inside with these dyed wood slices.
|
| Natural Thin Half Wood Slices
These slices measure approximately 1 1/2 x 1 1/2 x 1/4 inch with a 1/4" hole. They are made from untreated fir that is cut accross the grain making them easy for parrots to chew. These wood slices can also be used to cover the holes of the Fantastic Foraging Blocks.
|
| Natural Thin Wood Slices
These slices measure approximately 3 1/2 x 1 1/2 x 1/4 inch with three 1/4" holes. They are made from untreated fir that is cut across the grain making them easy for parrots to chew.
When I used these wood slices to make toys for my parrots, I would routinely find pretty good size pieces at the bottom of their cages but with no hole at the edge of the slice, I couldn't use the pieces to string on another toy. Now I drill 3 holes in all my rectangle slices. The extra holes also let you tie a bead or piece of leather on the end of the wood slice for added interest.
