| The T.U.T.T. (short for The Ultimate Tongue Toy) is a piece of violet colored PVC pipe crimped on each end with a bead inside. Margo Rose’s husband invented this toy in an attempt to keep their cockatoo, Zeke, occupied. He wanted a toy that would hold Zeke’s interest and not be destroyed too easily. He succeeded. Trying to remove the sliding bead inside the PVC housing is guaranteed to hold the interest of almost any parrot. The T.U.T.T. toy is available at Roses Pet Emporium (www.rosespet.com).
In the video below, Elvis demonstrates just how great this foot toy is.

| FORTUNE COOKIE FOR ZORBA |
|
| I will have to admit this is not exactly an original idea of mine for a foot toy. We have Zorba to thank for this one. I had gotten fortune cookies at a restaurant and put them in my pocket for later. When I got home I emptied my pockets onto the kitchen island. Later I let the parrots out, completely forgetting to hide the fortune cookies. The picture tells the rest of the story. I was in the kitchen when I heard Zorba fly by me. I turned to see him land on the counter, grab the cookie and fly up to his basket perch with it. He was more interested in tearing the cellophane wrapper off the cookie and taking out the piece of paper inside. He threw most of the cookie down to the floor and played with the paper fortune.

At the time this video was taken, Irving was new to our home and we were in the process of figuring out what kind of toys he was interested in. This is a fun video of Irving's first foot toy. Watch Irv make his own fun with a left over part of an old foraging toy.

I am only one, but I am one. I cannot do everything, but I can do something. And I will not let what I cannot do interfere with what I can do.
